Giving Blessings in a Backpack

Under the initiative of “Operation AKA Assist”, Phi Kappa Omega Chapter answered the call to provide meals to children in need. In partnership with Blessings in a Backpack, a non-profit organization that provides food on the weekends for elementary school children, Phi Kappa Omega Chapter conducted a food drive during the month of April to pack meals for students of Stagg Elementary School in Chicago, IL. On May 4, 2019, the Target 3: Building Your Economic Legacy Committee and Phi Kappa Omega Chapter member packed over 250 meals with over 1,000 food items and donate a variety of nonperishable food donations to Stagg Elementary School. The Target 3: Building Your Economic Legacy Committee is led by Iris Fullilove.
